Our company Norman F. Ogg was founded in 1961 by Mr Norman Ogg. It was originally just a small farming company located at West Kinwhirrie, Kirriemuir, Angus covering 200 acres of arable land.
After several years in farming Mr Ogg decided to diversify into areas that would complement his existing farming business.
In 1975 he became the first agent in Scotland to sell Marston trailers. Following on from this success in 1976, he also became an agent for Track Marshall Crawlers and Dowdeswell ploughs.
Today the company is agents for Marston trailers, Kidd Farm Machinery, Spearhead and Mark Hall Machinery. In 2009 we erected a new custom build shed to house our agricultural machinery and spare parts.
Norman’s son Gavin soon became part of the company and subsequently in 1992 was made a partner. Further to Gavin's enrolment the company diversified further into contract farming offering services such as ploughing, sowing, fert spreading, topping, rolling, rotavating, direct drilling, harvesting, baling etc. Currently we cover in excess of 2000 acres of arable land.
Our dedicated team also includes Alyson and Fiona who have been with the company for over 15 years. Alyson is responsible for the company’s administration and was taken on as a partner in 1999. Fiona deals with the company’s accounts and financial affairs.
We are always keen to take on new clients and should you wish to discuss your contracting requirements or purchase new or second-hand machinery then please Contact us.
